Familia y relaciones matrimoniales en la corte de Felipe IV: la descendencia del II Conde de Castrill

Abstract
El presente artículo reflexiona sobre la importancia que tuvieron las relaciones familiares en la configuración del sistema político durante el reinado de Felipe IV (1621-1665). Está centrado en el análisis de los matrimonios de la descendencia de uno de los personajes más importantes del período: García de Avellaneda y Haro, II conde de Castrillo.
A través de esta investigación se promueve el diálogo entre recientes propuestas teórico-metodológicas de la historia social y el paradigma de la Corte como sistema de gobierno. Con lo cual también se pretende hacer un ensayo de la utilización conjunta de estas dos tradiciones historiográficas.
Para la confección del presente trabajo se han utilizado fuentes provenientes del Archivo de Protocolos Notariales de Madrid, del Archivo Histórico Nacional, del Archivo del Reino de Navarra y de la sección Cervantes de la Biblioteca Nacional de España.
