Bilinguismo Castellano-Mapudungun en población escolar media de la iX región

Abstract
Esta lengua, muy pronto llamada por el conquistador ''Chiledungun''. era el código único, el suave y férreo lazo de unión entre pueblos que en otros aspectos diferían no poco. En un comienzo, como es lógico, eI español necesitó del auxilio de interpretes para establecer aquel tipo de comunicación y, para lograr el cual, no era suficiente el mera uso de la fuerza. Así, fue el castellana el que guiado por su interés tuvo que buscar los medios para comunicarse con el mundo hablante de mapudungun. Tal como antes habíales sucedido a Ios incas, fue también entre ellos, entre el pueblo invasor, en donde surgieron los primeros individuos bilingües de castellano-mapudungun.
